About Me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Gottman Educator with almost two decades of experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling. I offer a compassionate, warm, validating and, at times, humorous approach to therapy. My professional experience includes school settings, adult psychiatric groups, residential substance abuse treatment, geriatric mental health, and private practice.

I specialize in helping high-functioning professionals and creatives who are struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, and other disorders, as well as people going through challenging life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and struggle with work-life balance. Other clients have stressful relationships and desire more meaningful connections. We'll use cognitive-based therapies to identify thoughts and behaviors that prevent you from experiencing an authentic and fulfilling life. We will identify themes such as perfectionism and worthiness and explore how they impact mood, connection, and self-care. By taking a collaborative approach, I will help you connect to your core strengths for making change. I’m passionate about my clients’ success and think we all can benefit from good, effective therapy.

The relationship with your therapist is one of the most important factors in producing positive outcomes. It’s important that we have a strong connection in therapy so we can build trust and you can process on a deeper level. It’s essential that you feel comfortable and safe with your therapist.

I invite you to contact me for a free phone consultation. I have the experience, clinical skills, and compassion to help you!
